During the hair transplant procedure, our surgeons place each graft in the thinning and balding areas, individually, one at a time. HDC surgeons are trained to perform this procedure in a manner that results in virtually undetectable natural-looking restored hairlines and natural density.
The process follows four distinct stages:
STEP 1 - Consultation On your first visit, one of our expert consultants will provide information regarding causes of hair loss and hair restoration options. You will be given an electronic presentation of the various solutions available and all your questions and queries will be answered. A diagnostic procedure will follow so as to determine the existing stage of your hair loss and find out using our special electronic devices if you are actively loosing hair or not. When the diagnostic process will be completed, a specific solution will be recommended in detail for your case.
STEP 2 –Preparation for the Procedure On your second visit the final preparations for the procedure will be completed. This includes the exact measurement of the number and the kind of follicular units existing in your donor area and the exact calculation of the number of follicular units to be transplanted. Your medical history report will be completed by the doctor. Other preparations include a required blood test and a photo shoot with your before surgery photos. This visit will last 40-60 minutes.
STEP 3 - Procedure The surgical transplantation of hair follicles is a routine, simple outpatient procedure. A small section of tissue is removed from the donor area and is then converted under magnification into individual hair follicular units. (Strip Harvesting Technique)
After the hair grafts are carefully prepared, they are cautiously placed into bald or thinning hair areas. Single-hair follicular units are placed at precise but varied angles in the frontal hair zone to create a soft, natural looking hairline. The average hair transplantation procedure takes between 6-8 hours.
STEP 4 - Healing After your procedure you will be given verbally and in writing post-operative instructions by the medical staff that will guide you through the various steps that need to be taken to safeguard the result of your transplantation.
Once your hair transplant procedure is complete, you will be transported to your hotel room or walk with a member of the staff to HDC appartment to rest for the evening. You can resume normal activities the following day with the exception of strenuous exercise, which should be avoided for two weeks following your procedure.

In addition to explaining our techniques we show a different result in every section, because we understand that what counts for the patient at the end of the day, is how he looks after the hair transplant. Such an example is the one below.
